Spectrum Club Thousand Oaks

Review: I attempted to cancel my gym membership over the phone, but was prompted to come into the club. Although it was not convenient, I went to the club to cancel my membership. Upon arrival, Spectrum Club of Thousand Oaks wanted to collect $369 for the cancellation. I told them I understand the club has a $99 cancellation policy and I agreed to pay that amount. Nonetheless, Spectrum Club of Thousand Oaks is attempting to charge me an extra $270 or two additional months worth of dues in order to cancel. I refuse to pay for goods and services not render. I have not been to the club since mid-January and will not pay for two months of membership I will not be using.Desired Settlement: I am willing to pay the agreed upon cancellation fee of $99. This fee was explicitly stated to me upon signing up. Thank you.
