The business owner's response is not correct. As a matter of fact, it is a lie. I did request a specific size of replacement tip (1inch) for the bench that they arbitrarily sent me. They shipped the wrong size. They refused to honor the verbal commitment they made roughly 3 months ago. If they had just honored the commitment. I would have been satisfied. Why they would choose to refund the full purchase price instead of sending me a $10 set of parts doesn't make much business sense. However, they did credit my account so I will consider the matter closed.
