Revdex.com spoke with the business today and they have stated that they reviewed the details on the vehicle when it was initially inspected by their service department, and the roof was checked and there did not appear to be any issues The business has stated that they were unable to locate a used motor to replace, the correct amount of the purchase of a new unit is $425.00, but there are labor charges as well of about $ We did offer to send the vehicle directly to Ford and offered to pay for half of the cost to have the new motor installed and the labor as well The consumer refused this offer, but it does still stand This is not a warranty item under NYS Lemon Law, and the motor is still working, it is just running slow

Our experience is not pleasantWe had our Dodge Caliber fixed here in November New Front Tires boughtHad it inspected on another repair shop June and we were told we had bald and old tires in the frontWent back to this dealer and we found put they did not put the new tireswe bought as stated on the job order done last November This dealer told us that they have no explanation for itOn July 2014, we want to have dents fixed as per the Ding Shield warranty we purchase for a new Dodge Caravan fron this dealerWe paid extra for the warranty as part of this dealer's selling point/marketingToday we called Ding Shield and they told us our vehicle is not on their list meaning this dealer never submitted the paperwork for the Dodge Caravan coverageWe purchase other extra warranties from this dealer so we are all questioning them if they work or notIt seems that Victory Dodge Chrysler Jeep of Rome, NY wants to run away with your money and forget about their promise / service/ product (questionable business practice)Bottomline: If you are here to contemplate on buying or having your vehicle fixed here, look somewhere else and don't be like meThey give you the run around and they are not honest

Customer took delivery of vehicle on December with 65,milesThe
vehicle came with the New York State Lemon Law Warranty (days/miles)
January - Customer came in to pick up a programmed key that was part of his
used car deal
April -
Customer brought vehicle in for an engine concernVehicle was
diagnosed with bad lifters and camshaftRepair was expensive, but customer's
extended service contract covered all costs except for the $deductible which
the dealership absorbed due to the length of time the repair tookHowever; due to the
cost of the repairthe extended service contract company requires a representative of
their organization to inspect the vehicle
Customer was given a courtesy loaner vehicleHe never complained or mentioned
anything about the condition of the courtesy loaner either when he was given to him or
when he returned itThis vehicle was also used by another customer prior to being
given to him and that customer also had no complaints about condition
There were two factors in the delay in the repair of the vehicleFirst, the extended
warranty company had a delay in sending out a representative to approve the repairs
Second, the parts needed were on backorder from ChryslerIn an attempt to expedite
the repairs, we had parts shipped in from several dealerships across the countryHad
we waited for the Chrysler Warehouse to shipit would have been a much longer wait
May - Customer called late Thursday, May 15,complaining of a bad
shake while driving and a noisy engineCustomer was given the first available
appointment, first thing Monday morning, May Vehicle was diagnosedweights
came off driveshaft - driveshaft was replaced at no cost to customer (even
thought that repair was not covered under his used car warranty)We believe the
cause of the weights coming of the driveshaft was due to a mismatched tire replaced
by customer causing a tread depth difference not recommended on four wheel drive
vehiclesChecked engine concern, nothing wrong and no codes were recorded in the
vehicles system
June - Customer brought vehicle in, engine light was onHe complained that
the vehicle was still misfiringVehicle was diagnosed, engine light was caused by low
battery voltage (not related to any repairs) vehicle could have had a door ajar causing
overhead light to be left on so battery would be lowVehicle was attached to a
scantool and driven to monitor misfires, none occurredBoth technician and shop
foreman drove vehicle to verify engine was running properlyThe NDS cylinder
deactivation (which vehicle is equipped with) was clearly heard and running as
designed
In summary, the vehicle was not under any type or warranty to consider a buyback, per
New York State Lemon LawWe feel that the customer may be having buyer's
remorseWe feel the dealership has gone above and beyond for this customer -
$deductible was absorbed as was the driveshaft repair

Our experience at this dealer was horribleI walked in knowing the vehicle that we wanted, and with pre-approved financingThe salesperson was nice enough, but knew absolutely nothing about the vehicleMy wife was teaching him about it as we drove aroundWhen we had decided on the car, and on a price, we were told to just leave before talking to the financing guy and told that he would call us that afternoon
Never got a callCalled the next day and talked to the finance guy, who told us that I was getting denied everywhere and that he had to "call in some favors"Said he would call us back after lunchNever got a callI called back againHe mentioned that he just couldn't get me approved and that I needed a cosignerI brought up how I had financing already set up and just wanted to see the rates, and that we could use my financingHe said they don't do that thereI then asked if they used credit acceptance, which I already knew they did, and he said he would look in to it and call me backNever got a call
Talked to him the next day, which was when he told me that he had been swamped with "high-value" customers all day and that he would get to my deal soonThis was obviously extremely aggravatingAfter this, he actually did call me back to tell me that the guaranteed financing place decided to approve me (obviously) but that the system was down and it'd have to wait until MondayHe said he'd call me on Monday
Never got a callCalled Monday morning to ask him what was going on and he told me that I needed to come in to give him more informationI asked what more he could possibly need, and he told me that I had to make some very big life decision and it needed to be done in personAt this point, I told them just to give me my deposit back
That took days to show up and me threatening to call the police to get it backThe rude finance manager called me and acted confused as to why I would be canceling the deposit, then the owner called, then the salesperson called, and then I threatened to call the police and was told the refund was completedThe money didn't actually show up for days
Would not recommend this place unless you're someone who is spending a lot of money and have great creditOtherwise, you're not worth their time

I purchased a Jeep Cherokee Latitude on January 23, from Victory Chrysler Dodge Ram, Rome, NY I have purchased five vehicles in my lifetime with the Jeep being number six This is first time that I have had a 100% positive experience in buying a new vehicle
After researching vehicles on line, I feel that I was offered more than a fair purchase price I did not have a vehicle to trade in Mine was declared a total loss due to a recent MVA I never felt pressured to buy which I have been with dealings from other dealerships The salesman was actually pleasant and fair to work with I would recommend him to my friends and family The sales person is first person you meet and they become the real "face" of the company Mine was wonderful in every respect and I don't say that lightly
