problem. The date has been re-booked and we have since forwarded her refund via US Mail. We explain to our clients that a deposit holds the date and removes that particular date out of circulation and guarantees, for little money and good faith, their date would be held. It's unfortunate of her circumstance with funding and we understand fully her situation.

Just as I planned well in advance, I notified my vendors promptly upon changing my plans with consideration of their ability to rebook another event. All other vendors sent entitled refunds per contracts with no hassle. I'd suggest providing contracts with clear cancellation policies and keeping a book of business for rebooking if cancellations occur. I did receive my refund and thats all I wanted and expected. Thank you for your time and attention to resolve this matter.
