I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Consumer called and said the the business never offered anything for free, but only offered to look at itThe consumer recieved a nasty voicemail from the company, which the consumer felt the business was trying to hide somethingAlso, the consumer doubts that the vehicle is inspected with no issues, since the shock was taken to another shop who indicated that he has never seen such a bad shockThe consumer feels that the shock and axle problems were unrelated because they were in different parts of the vehicleSince the dash lights were turned down some of the problems were not immediatelyThe consumer would like the company to pay $to cover issues that should have never existed if the vehicle had been properly inspected

Re 2007 Ford Escape #[redacted] for $5400. with105,996 miles. 1-23-16. Vehicles in NYS with over 100,000 miles do not have the NYS used vehicle warranty. As with all our high mileage cars we do provide a 30 day 1000 mile powertrain warranty. This covers the lubricated motor and...
transmission only. The shock was not broken at the time of inspection. When the shock broke it possibly damaged something else. However, that is something I'll never know because you refused to bring the vehicle to me as we had planed. [redacted] called with the broken shock problem. I told him it wasn't covered but to bring the vehicle in ASAP. And would take care of it no charge and it may have damaged more than the shock if it had broken. He said he was busy but would have it here in a few days. A few days later I received a call from Mrs. [redacted] telling me about the same problem. I explained to her I was aware of the problem, there would be no charge for the repair and I was waiting for it to be dropped off. She acted like see understood. The AWD was working properly when delivered. I can't do any better than offer someone a free repair. If they choose to not accept my free repair offer that's up to them. John
