I am rejecting this response because: They are outright lying, I called and spoke with [redacted] directly and after stating the water heater was not installed correctly in the first place he said there would be not charge. A pan is needed on all installs and the venting was done in a haphazard and poorly done fashion. The drain was not connected which is another reason the job wasn't done to code in the first place which is what Mr [redacted] agreed to on the phone. The technicians were upset but this is a rental property so I don't look into the water heater closet until 11 months after it was unprofessionally installed.

THE WARRANTY ON THE WATER HEATER FOR OUR LABOR IS 90 DAYS; THE WARRANTY ON THE WATER HEATER ITSELF IS THROUGH THE MANUFACTURER; THE CUSTOMER DID NOT HAVE A WATER HEATER PAN WHEN WE REMOVED THE OLD WATER HEATER SO WE DID NOT INSTALL ONE ; ALMOST A YEAR LATER THEY CALLED US BACK AND REPORTED THE WATER...
HEATER WAS LEANING AND DID NOT HAVE A WATER HEATER PAN;IN THE 11 MONTHS BEFORE THEY CALLED US, WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THE WATER HEATER OR WHO MAY HAVE MESSED WITH IT TO MAKE IT LEAN OR WHY IT WAS NOT VENTED ; WE TOLD THEM IT WAS NOT UNDER WARRANTY; THE GENTLEMAN ARGUED THAT IT SHOULD BE WARRANTY; HE WAS TOLD IT WAS NOT; IF THEY WOULD HAVE CALLED US BACK WITHIN THE 90 DAY PERIOD WE WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE THAN GLAD TO MAKE THE REPAIRS AT NO CHARGE. WHEN THEY RECEIVED THE INVOICE THEY CALLED AND REFUSED TO PAY; MR. [redacted] WAS WILLING TO ADJUST THE INVOICE AND DEDUCTED $200.00 FROM IT. THEY STILL REFUSED SAYING IT SHOULD BE UNDER WARRANTY.
