This moving company picked up our belongings at [redacted] st., South Amboy, NJ on July 27th and is suppose to call or email me with a delivery date to ship to our florida address, to date 8/11/we have not received a phone call or email, we are sleeping on the floor We already paid them $6, We have called them numerous times , once we got hold of someone and was told they don't know when we will receive our belongings, then called again many times only to receive their voice mail box, with no returned calls when they picked up our belongs, they did not bring a truck big enough and we had to leave our washing machine, freezer, bakers rack, tools, and many other items we had listed to be moved

I hired [redacted] to bring my furniture from [redacted] to my home in [redacted] They picked up my things on the 29th of May and I still have not received delivery I have called them many times and have not been given any reason for the delay In fact, they do not know exactly where my furniture is Voicemails are full, if I do talk to someone they just tell me to call another number or a certain person will call me back, which never happensLast I heard my furniture is in [redacted] That was weeks ago

Spartan Van Lines falsely advertised and sold their ability to deliver my household goods from NC to CT in a timeley manner Their contract stated a move from 500-miles on average takes 5-days to complete Juan F [redacted] the sales rep verbalized their ability to meet my timeframe Pick up was performed on Sept as contracted, following a phone call from Todd the company QA agent up selling is more space for our load which was housed in a 15xand 1/of a 5xstorage unit The deposit was paid as directed by the contracting sales rep There was an attempt to upsell is mattress covers on site of pick up though this was part of the agreed original quote The specified balance was paid at pickup via certified check as required by Spartan The day after pickup correspondence was received requesting add moneys to “facilitate the delivery process” which I sent via wire transfer I also received communication from a Miss DR***’s from Spartan’s accounting departme

This "moving company" has been terribleThey were late to pick up my itemsThey called on a Friday and said items would be delivered on SaturdayI took the day off workThe truck never arrivedMy items were held hostageEven when the truck arrived, they would not release my items unless I paid 3x the amount dueI told them I would call the police, they did not careI had friends show up to assist and the truck magically opened and my broken items were deliveredI had a month old TV they dropped, I had to pay the disposal fee for the TVI am missing itemsI was given other people's items, I was told to file a claimI have filed a claim and no response from anyoneI have a google drive documenting everything [redacted]

My complaint is with Spartan Van Line (###-###-####) out of NJ, Florida and Doylestown, PAI currently have a small move of heirloom furniture from New England and have a contract for those items to be moved to another state, farther southThe sales team did a good job of assuring me they could handle the partial moveThe pick up team was polite and responsiveThat was August 27thToday, November 7, I still do not have my furniture despite two attempts at telling me the goods were coming, only they were actually notI have lost all faith in this company that they will actually deliver my furniture to me which is a shame as these are pieces of furniture that have been the family for over years The company is very good at emailing me and telling me they are working on it, but in reality, I don't think I will get my furnitureI have called multiple times, emailed near daily and attempted to contact a manager of typesCustomer service does not transfer you to a manage

I was quoted $on 5/for a move scheduled on 6/19/ They movers were scheduled to arrive at pm on the 19th, but showed up after 8pm They began loading my belongings and the mover then informed me that my move was now going to cost me over $ Since I had no choice to make any other moving arrangements, I was held captive to the move After waiting almost days, I finally received my furnishings on July According to my initial contract it was a full service move however the movers refused to put my furnishings in any room other than the front room of my home The movers were unprofessional and refused to put the furniture THEY disassembled back together Of course my furniture arrived damaged/ missing hardware and pieces On July I filed a claim with Spartan On 9/Spartan attempted to resolve my $claim by offering me $ In addition they required a “notarized letter” that stated I would not persue filing a complaint against their business

[redacted] Van Lines Moving Company, has sold me their services under false pretenses. I planned for a cross country move from Orlando, FL to Las Vegas, Nevada. When booking [redacted] I was told multiple times by the sales representative that I would be able to choose my delivery date depending on when my belongings were picked up. The sales rep said that the company needed 2-3 weeks to get my things from Orlando to Vegas, so my belongings were picked up July 14th 2018 and agreed to be delivered August 3rd 2018. When I called July 31st 2018 to confirm this delivery I was told something differently, that my things would not be delivered on August 3rd and that my belongings hadn’t even been loaded onto a truck to begin delivery, as of July 31st.
