We have switched to a flat rate for our drain cleaning roughly a year and a half ago, whether the job takes minutes or hours, the price is the sameMr [redacted] hadn't used our services since so he hadn't experienced any price increases first hand, however, we have tried to make our customers aware of the changes over the years but with such a large customer base its hard to notify everyoneWe certainly will give anyone a price quote if asked for oneI have reached out to Mr [redacted] since and reached an agreement
I’m sorry that Mrs [redacted] feels our company is “incompetent”and we couldn’t resolve her plumbing issuesOur invoices are as follows; 1) Wewere first called out for a clogged kitchen sink, we had dispatched atechnician out who attempted to clean the kitchen sink drain, but with no cleanout access we could not get a cable into the drain lineSpartan Services didnot charge for this service callWe then gave an estimate and 2) rescheduledfor a technician to return on 4/13/to cut open the wall, install a clean outon the drain line under the kitchen sink in order to gain access into thedrain, and snake the lineInvoice # [redacted] states “Snaked line but could not getpast 10’, line might be broken.” (The drain line runs under a concrete basementfloor.) The kitchen drain was open and draining at this point3) On 4/17/15,the kitchen drain line plugged up again and we dispatched a technician to snakethe drain line open, invoice #***At the time of that service call, the technoticed the galvanized drain line had begun leaking in the wall where the pipewas threaded into a cast iron fitting, a very common problem with oldergalvanized plumbing4) On 4/19/we had returned once again to make therepair on the drain (a separate issue) and fix a couple other minor things onthe sinkI do understand how this can be frustrating, however it was anunforeseen issue that had not arisen while we were there the first timeThenalmost a month later, 5) 5/14/15, the kitchen drain line had plugged up again.Unfortunately our company does not warranty stoppages on a potential broken drainline, but we snaked the kitchen drain again, we sent an invoice but have notcharged their account for this jobWe did make a mistake and failed to returnto write up an estimate to reroute the drain around the potential broken areaunderground, I am extremely sorry about missing this estimate callI havereached out to [redacted] via phone message and email, to see what we can doto resolve everything and reach an agreement, I have not heard back from her atthis point
