I own 2 boats, so have had plenty of experience with boat mechanics (including electrical mechanics). Although I do have a mechanic that really knows his business, he is VERY unreliable when it comes to showing up when he says he will...repeatedly. It's really difficult to find a mechanic that is knowledgeable AND reliable. Well, I have finally found my electrical mechanic!!! My electric boat has been having issues with power and controller. Trying to get my regular guy out was frustrating at best. Found Steve through a friend and I'm highly satisfied...ecstatic actually. He is ALWAYS on time (or even early). He keeps me informed as to his progress and his pricing seems fair. While here to work on my electric boat yesterday, I mentioned to him some issues I was having with my navigation system on my sportfisher. He said he had the time and would take a look at it immediately. We walked over to the boat and he figured out it was a connection port that went bad, he switched the cable to another port, and viola...problem fixed! What a guy. I would highly recommend Steve to anyone with electrical issues on their boat.
