firstly, it took more than a month to get the report, and secondly, it turned out that they had cut the number of hours in my diploma by 5 ! Once, instead of 3 years of study, I received a document that I studied in the equivalent of only 6-8 months. Which means that I still need to finish my studies. Money wasted. With a statement from Shamsh Chowdhury

SpanTran: The Evaluation Company says that in the USA, diplomas are translated like this.
At the beginning when I started to follow up after the 10 working days, they were responding. Now they disappeared!

translation. The application is also very clear that while SpanTran does provide translation services, applicants are by no means required to use SpanTran for translation services and they can submit a previously arranged translation. Applicants who do not submit a translation are given a quote for translation services.
After we received [redacted]’s application and reviewed his file, we sent a quote for translation service. The quote reiterated the information that was provided to him on his application that he was under no obligation to use SpanTran for his translation services and we were happy to base an evaluation off any certified translation performed by a reputable translator. Our records show some correspondence towards the end of July as to [redacted] asking whether a translation was indeed required but not a single request to cancel his file or asking for a refund.
In any event, SpanTran does spend a significant amount of time processing applications and reviewing all documentation submitted and by the terms and conditions of SpanTran's online application, which client agreed to, no refunds are offered in this case. The client may still submit a certified translation, which can be provided by a reputable translation company in the United States or an independent ATA certified translator at which point we can complete his evaluation.
Horrible service, stay away from them for your own good! They only care so long as they get your money once they do they never finish the job
The agent I spoke to was very disrespectful and hanged up on me.

Review: This foreign academic credential evaluations and translations company has a nice little scam going. First off, you can't talk to anyone over the phone ever, either number (Houston ###-###-####), (New York ###-###-####). When you call you get two prompts, neither of which will get you to a live person, only a recorded message stating you need to go to the website. First red flag, right? For the service they give you the pricing for the evaluation and verification, BUT only state "you will need to pay an extra fee for us to translate it."After you pay the steep evaluation and verification fee, and after you send them the documents, THEN they tell you how much the translation fee is. The translation fee is more than the evaluation and verification fee. It more than doubles the price of the service. Why are they coy about this "extra fee"?Not wanting to pay over double of what I originally agreed (and paid) I emailed them to cancel. Below is their response:"As it turns out SpanTran does not offer refunds. Please refer to the application which you submitted. This policy is clearly listed under our important terms and conditions. If you wish to cancel the order we can do so, but we cannot offer a refund."Really? My bank begs to differ.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back. I would like them to be upfront about their "extra fee" before initial payment. I would like them to have a cancellation procedure, not "As it turns out SpanTran does not offer refunds."Because, as it turns out, that's not how we do business in America.
