("OneMain") is in receipt of Mr*** ***'s complaint, which you forwarded on his behalfWe have had an opportunity to review the issues raised and offer the following response. In his description , Mr*** indicates: He paid the balance of his loan in full in early April 2016; however, the personal check he provided has not cleared his bank, and; He is requesting for OneMain to stop calling him in attempt to lend him additional money and to be removed from the calling list. Our responses correspond with the numbered concerns above: OneMain's Colonial Heights, Virginia office received a check in the amount of $10,on March 25, 2016, which was applied to Mr***'s loan immediately and was included in the daily deposit to OneMain's bank account on March 25, As of the date of this response, OneMain has not received any indication that there is any issue with the personal check provided by Mr. ***OneMain considers Mr***'s account as Paid in Full as of March 25, 2016. We have updated our records to remove Mr*** from our calling and mailing listsThere is a possibility that he may receive one or two more solicitations before being completely removed . The removal process may take six to eight weeks to clear as we process mail campaigns six weeks ahead of the mail dateOnce the removal process is complete, Mr*** will no longer receive any loan offers from OneMain Financial via telephone or at his address For your and Mr***'s review, please find enclosed a copy of the check provided by Mr***, a copy of the deposit slip that included his ch eck on March 25, 2016, the receipt provided to Mr*** and a complete copy of his payment history.
