Review: On October **, 2013 I sold my 2011 Mercedes Benz G550 that I had purchased at Sovereign Mercedes (now doing business as Mercedes Benz of Brooklyn) on March **, 2012. In accordance with the tire and wheel contract with Auto Knight Motor Club (AKMC) that I had purchased at Sovereign when I bought the vehicle, I applied to AKMC for my pro rata refund relating to such contract.Per the contract terms, I am entitled to a full pro rata refund calculated on a time basis less a $25 administrative fee payable to AKMC. Based on the length of time from the contract origination date to the cancellation date, my pro rata refundable amount equates to $1,095.26 - $25, or a net refund of $1,070.26. On December **, 2013, I received a check from Mercedes Benz of Brooklyn (MBB) for $792.12. I placed numerous calls into the finance staff at MBB to try to understand the calculation for the refund amount. None of my three calls were returned. I then checked with AKMC who told me that the check for $792.12 represented the exact amount that AKMC had refunded to MBB and that MBB still owed me the pro rata share of the dealer mark-up of the contract or $278.14. On December **, 2013 I spoke with [redacted] who told me that he would look into this and try to get it resolved by December [redacted]. Having heard nothing back from [redacted], I left him a message on January **, 2014 (who I was told was in the office). On January **, 2014 I sent a letter to [redacted], President of Mercedes Benz of Brooklyn explaining the details. As of this writing I have not received ANY response whatsoever from MBB even though MBB did acknowledge their obligation to the original contract by sending me AKMC's share of the refund due to me.Desired Settlement: Cash payment to me of $278.14 representing the residual amount due to me representing the pro rata share of the original dealer mark-up from the tire and wheel contract that Mercedes Benz of Brooklyn is refusing to pay. This is contractually due to me per the original contract terms.
