Southwestern Electric Power Company

I am writing this review due to negligence on handling an account issue properly. I have always used the same checking and routing information to pay my bill online. Suddenly this month, the same account I've always used is no longer able to be used to pay. They hit my account with a 25 dollar fee. Made it so I have to go to a "local pay area". I was always given a late fee. They made my account cash only. When questioned they talked in circles and refused to fix this problem. Blaming it on me. I was handled rudely by three different employees. I am disgusted at the fact I always pay my bills on time, that I had to pay an almost 400 dollar deposit and I am still treated badly. You can't do anything because they are the only electric company for my area. I'm furious and would like this matter handled.

This company's billing procedure is problematic and customer service is abysmal.
