Southwest Transmission., L.L.C.

The customer service manager at Aamco Transmissions lured me in with a promise of a free diagnosis in exchange for a case of non-perishable items. It was never stated that if the diagnosis was over an hour I would be charged $900.00 for time & labor costs. And now my car is being held hostage with a lien against it until Aamco receives their payment in full that was never authorized to be done. They were authorized to purchase a $130.00 battery which in turn they are charging me $210.00 for. My car was misdiagnosed and the work performed on the car was unsatisfactory. They treated me and my property like second class citizens. The customer service manager is rude, obnoxious, arrogant, and should not at any time have any position that deals with the public in my opinion. He has not produced an itemized statement for the parts and labor done on the car outside of a battery and a neutral safety switch. I am not comfortable paying a bill for work that I did not authorize and parts that no receipts can be produced for. So despite my best efforts to work with the customer service manager he has contacted the DMV to put a mechanics lien on my vehicle. I contacted the DMV and they advised me to once again contact the customer service manager, which I did with no favorable results.
