Mrs [redacted] did cancel here agreement in the appropriate time, but then contested her credit card charge, we have told our bank to release the charge and it is up to her bank to reverse the AuthorizationBut on our end we do not have her money and her agreement with us is canceled
Dr [redacted] is correct we can put him in star accommodations all over the world and depending on the specific property save him half if not moreBut he was told that airfare, hotel and car rentals by themselves is not a savings benefit the program it is more of serviceAs far as I know we have never given Dr [redacted] any quotes on accommodationsWhen it comes to our hours we do have hours for quotes and then we do have an after hour line for emergency's onlyThis was explained to the Doctor during his contracting stagelets talk about the rental car situation, we go by what the rental company states in there documentationIf it was the wrong desk we apologize, but that was what they told us !! When it comes to the amount of people in the line is a fictitious numberand I am willing to bet he did not count themI have traveled all over the world a booked cars in just about every major airport in the USA and I have never had more that people in any line, so I seriously doubt that the good Drhad any more that thatSounds to me about the tire situation that they exchanged the car with no issues, so how is that a problemOnce again I have had problems with all the major car rental companies at one point or another, which they where all GREAT about exchanging the carWe will not be refunding the Drmoney, I would suggest that we work together to utilize the membership to best of its capabilities, so he can reach the benefits of the membership

I am rejecting this response because:Goldstar Getaways finally put me through to the person in charge of my refund request from August 31st after not taking my
calls for months I called twice on Tuesday Nov 1st The second time a called, they put me through to ***, the person in charge of my refundAnd yes he did speak to me and he told me that accounting was cutting the check that day and he should have it and will send me a confirm when he has received itHe also stated that he would put it in the mail to me right awayI have not received a confirmation of the refund check that was suppose to be cut on Tuesday Nov I do not want to close this compliant until the issue is resolved There is a difference between saying the check is being cut and actually having it cut and sent

Obviously *** *** is somewhat delusional, he has not used our program, registered the promotional offer, so does not really have an understanding of how the membership worksHe wants to throw out insults and slurs when he really knows nothing of how anything works, and never even gave anyone a chance to really help him with his concernsIn the past when someone reacts the way he is it generally means that they really could not afford it it in the first place, which is okWe have been nothing but cordial and tried to help him with his concerns, but to no availHe mentions the the money like we were going to steal it from him, his check was never deposited, as soon as we heard that he was wanting to cancel we entered him into the database as suchIf *** *** has a problem with us then he needs to man up and call us to complain and not use a third party like a child to insult us thinking we will just let it slide, which we will not

I have stated my reasons for going to the Revdex.com with a complaint You are the ones that misrepresented your company and lied about your relationship with the Revdex.com Since they have received similar complaints about your actions from different sources I am content in leaving it to them as to whether they want to keep and publish any record of these complaints As far as "manning up" goes I want my response to be very clear I have no intention of calling you or having contact with you in any way I suggest you do not contact and threaten me or my family We will interpret any such actions as threatening ...and a clear and present physical danger to ourselves and we will tailor our responses accordingly I stand by what I have already said I have taken the steps I deemed necessary to try and illuminate your activities for any who might have questions As far as I am concerned this should end here and now

I am rejecting this response because: GoldStar does not acknowledge that I disputed the credit card charge ONLY because they did not refund my money or respond to my requests for refund and untimely did not "refund" my moneyIt's true they do not have my money, but that was based on the actions of my credit card company and not a "refund" by GoldStar as I was entitled under Minnesota law and the contract between GoldStar and my. I was not allowed to even dispute the charge until a time period passed that was much later than Minnesota law allowed and also as promised by Goldstar's own contractConsumers should be warned of their illegal and inappropriate practice by not refunding money paid to them timely after cancelationI believe, with no reason to not believe, that had I not disputed the credit card charge, I would still be fighting for my refundGoldStar did NOT REFUND my money, but instead failed to verify their right to my money as requested by my credit card company and therefore I prevailed after disputing the charge against my credit card account. GoldStar also continues to violate MN Statute by indicating in their contract that refund will be made outside the time frame allowed by Minnesota lawThey need to change their contract until it is in compliance with Minnesota lawThank you for your actions on my behalf!

This letter Is a response to the email received on September 1, from GoldstarGetaway.I would like to say, for the record "that" I am 83-years old, and have traveled the sevencontinent, and have used AAA travel for all my travel needs too many years.In my respond to Goldstar Getaways message via the email, dated September 1, 2016,nothing In our complaint Is fabricated, and we have tried to be specificNo response wasreceived to the letters sent on April 26th and 301", 2016.In his response to you, he stated "that" hotel, airfare and car rental were separate,however, this is not what was presented to us On AprilS, at the presentationMr*** was not present, and, therefore, he does not know what was said ( a copy of page 15,and of their Goldstar Getaways Handbook attached), these pages speaks to travelpackage, airfare and car rental "that" was shared with us at the presentation.Mr*** is correct, about not providing a quote for accommodationPlease readour letter of complaint dated April 26th (letter attached)Also, Mr*** did bookedour car rental with *** * ***, and when we went to pick up the car, we were charged thefull price, which does not correspond with what was told to us at the presentationHe also toldme that would be reimburse for the difference, and as of the date of this letter no refundreceivedWe are also attaching a copy of our letter dated April 26th, "that" speaks to ourexperience with the car rental, and page of the Goldstar Getaways Handbook on "RentalCars."In addition, each of the individuals attending the presentation were told that they wouldreceive a free gift at the conclusion of the presentationThese "free giftsturned out not tofree, and attached are copies of what was given to us.In conclusion, what was presented to us on April 810, 2016, is not what we haveexperienced, In our attempts to utilized Goldstar Getaways services, and, therefore, arerequesting a reimbursement in fulL

This was explained to the Doctor during his contracting stage. lets talk about the rental car situation, we go by what the rental company states in there documentation. Sounds to me about the tire situation that they exchanged the car with no issues, so how is that a problem. We will not be refunding the Dr. money, I would suggest that we work together to utilize the membership to best of its capabilities, so he can reach the benefits of the membership.

As far as timing goes...at the time I entered the complaint I was a member. I had not been able to cancel the funds yet. It has always been my understanding that the Revdex.com is a source for people to not only resolve disputes but to identify companies that are nefarious. I submit that this company has lied not only to me and my wife but to others as well. I do not think that they should be allowed to skate on the reason that I stopped funds from transferring. My dispute with them is settled in so far as I declined their membership and am now only out of pocket the fee to cancel the check and the gas money and time to go to their presentation, but others need to know that this company has repeatedly misrepresented themselves and has cited the Revdex.com as proof that they are an upstanding company. Their statements in regard to their history and standing with the Revdex.com were completely false.
