Ordered custom furniture - dining table delivered damaged - attempted three times to fix but did not fix satisfactorily. Chairs to match table were not same color ***d to re-stain to match table and he refused. Bedroom suite was advertised on his *** page - ordered the exact same thing and he delivered a set that looked totally different - very dark stain - not what I ***d for. Asked him to fix and send photos - refused to send photos. Delivered furniture - caught them leaving it on my front porch - told them to take it back and when I went in the house to get my husband they left! They left a dining room table and queen bedroom set on my front porch. I texted and *** them to turn around and didn't get a response. I've tried calling at it goes directly to voicemail. I have ***d for my money back and for him to pick his furniture up - it is unacceptable.
Product_Or_Service: custom furniture
Refund For him to pick his furniture up and give me my money back. He says he is a custom furniture builder but he refuses to build the furniture to my wants and needs.
Hello, I'm truly sorry you are dissatisfied with your furniture set; however, we did everything within our power and within reason to accommodate your order, including an in-person consultation before starting the order to review details of the set, created your set to the best of our ability meeting all parameters given by the customer, corrected any details you were unhappy with (ie. color change), and delivered all pieces to your house for free on separate occasions (470 total miles). We ask that you please refer to the invoice, dated December 7, 2019, that was issued to you prior to payment and manufacturing of the furniture pieces, which states "Some variation in wood grain can alter color tones...Due to the fact that it will be made specifically for you, we do not offer refunds." Because of this fact, we will not be offering a refund. While we feel the furniture made for you was beautifully hand-crafted and made to order, we are once again very sorry you are dissatisfied with your order.

Southern Table Co is supposed to be custom order furniture. The furniture I received was not the customized order I made, specific to my color requests and the quality of furniture we expected. The multiple deliveries were not my fault or my request. I ordered all furniture at the same time and expected delivery at the same time. Southern Table Co offered to bring items in two trips because they didn't get everything done by the date we were told. Then they couldn't fit everything in the truck so they wanted to make a 3rd trip. The dining table was delivered damaged and they had to come pick it up to fix it i.e. one of the many trips made to my house. The last trip made by Southern Table Co to my house was when they tried to sneak up to my house and leave a dining room table and queen bed set on my front porch without any communication to me, no phone call, no door bell ring - my dogs started barking and notified of what was going on. My invoice does note free delivery and set up. The bedroom set that was left on the front porch was far from being set up. What kind of business owner allows or tells his delivery people to leave heavy furniture on the customers front porch? I asked the guys to hold on a minute while I get my husband and they drove off! Who does that? I texted and called the owner and got no response nor has he reached out to explain why the furniture was left on my front porch. No, I do not accept their response as a settlement to the issues I had with this company. No one who spends over $7,000 on CUSTOM furniture should just have to accept what the owner decides is good enough for the customer or the color of stain that they want to push off on the customer. He was asked MANY times to recreate the color of stain in a picture advertised on his*** page and he was unable to do it. Not my fault, I asked for a queen bed set in warm gold and red tones and he delivers a very dark stained set with drawers that look like leopard print? The issue is not "some variation in wood grain can alter color tone" the problem its the color stain used. See attached picture of what we requested and what we got. We haven't even talked about the dining room table that was damaged and he tried to fix - who wants to spend over $700 on a table and be able see the spot where the damage was covered up? This whole experience has been beyond my comprehension. No, his response is not acceptable.
