I am amazed with my new roof everyday. I have a 1600 sq ft roof and all in one day the company did a complete tear off of two layers and reshingled. The company made the process so easy. Would definitely recommend this company.

JUST WOW! Great work done by their professional team for my parents. Lost a group of shingles, they came, looked, fixed quickly in 15-20 minutes, and said no payment was necessary for the quick fix. Amazing Service with kindness, quality, professionalism, and expediency!

Southern Star Roofing is top notch. They communicate very well and did not require me to be home at the time of my roof repair. I worked through Claire who explained what repairs I needed done, how long the work would take and an appropriate quote. After not finding a better quote out there, I contacted Claire to get set up. When the work was complete, they even sent pictures of exactly what was fixed and why before I paid the invoice. They also fixed a couple of shingles at no extra charge after I did not request them to be replaced initially. Great people and even better service!

Really professional group. Before and after pictures to show you exactly what they did all emailed to you. The repair was not rushed and they took their time to make sure it was right which is rare to find these days. The repair was even done a day early. Easy payment options as well.

I was very impressed with the time it took for them to send someone out to put a tarp on my roof until they were able to come back. They were making sure no other damage was being done. They would not accept any kind of down payment until the job was to my satisfaction. They completed the job in a timely manner and I would definitely recommend them to others.

Southern star construction was very professional. I had a bunch of quotes and southern star won me by professionalism. The crew came early and had the roof completely done by 3pm with clean up. The only thing that wasn't 5 stars would have been that they watch the weather for rain, which is respectable. Instead of pushing everyone forward I got sent to the bottom of the list. I did not really care for that. Not enough for me to take away a star though. Everyone was kind and efficient. Thank you Southern star for a breeze transaction and the beautiful new roof!

We were very pleased with our decision to contract with Southern Star Roofing & Construction to replace our roof. From our very first contact with Southern Star office personnel all the way to the laborers installing the shingles, we recognized the outstanding service we received. The office staff accommodated our busy schedules when setting up our appointment with the sales representative. Our salesman arrived on time as scheduled. He was knowledgeable, courteous and professional. He answered the numerous questions we had during the initial contact and responded to subsequent phone call and texts in a prompt manner. He also supplied addresses of homes closest to ours on which our chosen color and style of shingle had been recently installed. Southern Star's scheduler for the roof replacement was consistent in her frequent phone contact with us regarding changes that were necessitated by the three days of extreme weather in the Charlotte area. Southern Star accommodated our schedules despite the initial cancellations due to weather. The crew foreman and installers arrived on time. They were careful and respectful of our property as they worked from tear off to replacement. They left our property in a clean, undamaged condition. They were thorough in their sweep of our entire property for nails and trash. Overall, dealing with Southern Star Roofing & Construction was an excellent experience. We would not hesitate to recommend this company to family, friends and neighbors.

Sales rep clearly explained what needed to be done and worked with my insurance to minimize our out of pocket expenses. When a mistake (due to crew miscommunication) was made, they immediately took responsibility and had it fixed that day. Very pleased with the resulting roof and gutter work. Easy company to work with and would highly recommend to anyone needing roofing or gutter work.

We hired Southern Star to replace some leaking boot seals on our roof and to instal some gutter enhancements. They sent a very qualified professional out to survey our roof and provided a very competitive quote on the spot. Everyone that I interacted was very pleasant and professional. The new downspouts and gutter guards look great and solved our problems. This company is fabulous! After struggling to find a company to complete honest work without bogus cost inflation in relation to a home sale these people are wonderful! I had contacted other contractors for the same issues and was given estimates three times the amount for the exact same work. These folks were the only company to send a man to review my roofing needs in person. Chris listened to my concerns and then was able to offer the exact cost the service would be in advance. They did not charge me a cent until it was completed to my satisfaction. The workman, Billy, arrived within an hour of my expectations and maintained focused. No smoking, swearing or littering on my property. He cleaned up everything without any kind of trace that work was done with the exception of the grains of roofing material which fell to the ground due to his walking about on the roof. Not to be prevented! The office contact, Claire, was always cordial and never in a hurry to move on to another customer. I can't give these folks enough verbal appreciation because they have integrity, honesty and are ethical unlike way too many other corrupt companies in the area.
