Review: We are being harassed by a company called Public Pages. On November 14, 2013 I spoke to a Ms. [redacted] who had been calling to "collect" past due of $971.00". She replayed an initial conversation where we authorized the first year of service for your Premium Service. Here is part of the problem, when their sales person called our employee they indicated that the service was for the Public Yellow Pages. We currently advertise with the Yellow Pages thru AT&T and so our employee assumed that the call was from them. He then authorized payment of $499 for a 1 year subscription. We never received any form of documentation or invoice. We have received zero value and have never received any reporting showing the value of your service. Then all of a sudden we begin to get invoices with past due amounts for $900 plus dollars. When I spoke to [redacted], she played back a recording, then said we had a contract. We never agreed to any contract verbally or in writing and she said that she did not have to provide us with any written agreement.Funny enough, I then Google her name and company and I get a complaint almost identical to mine. This is clearly a case of mis-representation.We originally paid $499 and now they are saying we owe $971.93 and threatening us with reporting to credit bureaus.We need help to shut down this group of individuals.
