In response to complaint ID [redacted] We only think it is reasonable and prudent that if such damage occurred within miles of thedealership, that the customer would return and let the dealership examine what happenedMr [redacted] has never let us physically examine the trailer to verify the cause; For all we know, it happened after it left our dealershipIn the past we have had trailers, especially 5th wheels, get damaged right after they leave by bird strikes and other outside influences that buckle the metal and start the type of damage that Mr [redacted] is claiming happened to his trailer, and compounds by continued travelAsk yourself: Why wouldn't anyone have come back after only miles of traveling that he is claiming? He kept on traveling miles after the side of the trailer peeled off? Why won't he let us inspect the cause and happenings? We personally think it is only fair for us to be able to establish our facts and findings after such accusationsNo one would hand over free money without being able to see it for themselvesWe now ask ourselves if Mr [redacted] is being fraudulentWouldn't you? In our last response we stated "We then offered to repair it 50/to where he would pay 50% and we would pay 50%"We offered to repair and pay for 50% of the repairWe still offer this if Mr [redacted] will bring the trailer to Southern Idaho RV and Marine by May 18th [redacted] Southern Idaho RV and Marine

In response to *** *** suggestion that the damage was somehow caused after the trailer left his business, he has photos taken within minutes of the trailer leaving his business with the damage fully exposed maybe he can explain how all that dry rot occurred so quickly, and the dry rot is both where the cost in repair is and the cause of the siding coming offHe also has photos showing the siding peeled off only to the pop out and miles didn’t change that nor did all the dry rot seem to get any worse after miles……
As to taking the trailer to his dealership for repair you would be a fool to trust someone who had just taken advantage of you, do you really think they should get another shot at it
And lastly the only person who stood to gain from fraudulent activity would be the person or dealership who passed off to someone else property they know was materially unsuited for the purpose it was sold due to disguised faulty repairs……

To whom it may concern; We apologize for the misunderstandingThe trailer did sell on Saturday and we had a deposit given to hold the trailer on Saturday June 17th, When the *** came in it was five minutes after the other sales person had taken the deposit, therefore it was
not yet notated on our stock sheetOn Monday when we called her one of our employees was completely unaware that the unit had sold, hence the calls and the total mix-up. We definitely do not believe in discrimination of any type, we are an equal opportunity employer, as well as a dealership that completely embraces the entire community, and love our Magic Valley for the deep diversity that it promotesWe have contacted the customer and expressed our deepest apologies, and hope to earn her patronage as a longstanding customerThank you for your time and understanding in this matter-- Matt L*** Business Manager Southern Idaho RV & Marine [email protected]

[redacted] purchased a 10 year old [redacted] Toy hauler 33' from us, that was towed over 500 miles to our dealership. The unit was inspected as described of all major plumbing and appliances. Mr. [redacted] came up from Salt Lake City to purchase the toy hauler and inspected it with a representative...
for over two hours. All that was readily visible to us was also visible to him. The same day he purchased the toy hauler,[redacted] called us and said the side blew off and that he was a few miles from the dealership. We asked his transport to turn around since he was just a few miles away and come back. They did not do that [redacted] then demanded his money back after the trailer was 250 miles away and we were not able to inspect it. We at that time reminded [redacted] that he chose not to buy a product protection plan, that there was too much money profit in insurance and he would not buy it. We then offered to repair it at cost if he would bring it to us. [redacted] would not bring it to us. We then offered to repair it 50/50 to here he would pay 50% and we would pay 50%. He would not. We offered to work with his insurance company and pay all deductibles so it would cost him nothing. He refused. We find it quite odd that the side of a trailer blew off a couple of miles away from our dealership and they continued to drive it 250 miles instead of bring it back. We find it odd that he does not see the value of insurance when he is an insurance agent. We find it odd that it was drove 500 miles into us a few weeks before without incident. In closing we are a business of honor and integrity and we will always stand for our word and will always o above and beyond for our customers. But buying a 10 year old RV is like buying a 10 year old car. There is always a risk that something will go wrong.
In response to complaint ID [redacted] We only think it is reasonable and prudent that if such damage occurred within 2 miles of thedealership, that the customer would return and let the dealership examine what happened. Ask yourself: Why wouldn't anyone have come back after only 2 miles of traveling that he is claiming? He kept on traveling 240 miles after the side of the trailer peeled off? Why won't he let us inspect the cause and happenings? We personally think it is only fair for us to be able to establish our facts and findings after such accusations. No one would hand over free money without being able to see it for themselves. We now ask ourselves if Mr. [redacted] is being fraudulent. Wouldn't you?
