On 2/22/2014 at approximately 5:30 p.m. we...
received a phone call from a lady stating she had eaten steak fajitas at our restaurant earlier that day and become ill. She wanted us to be aware of the problem and let the kitchen know to get rid of the meat.
The matter was Immediately checked and everything was fine. There was no problem with any of the food. We served it all day and there were no other complaints. Some of the staff also ate it and had no problems. Our fajitas are prepared as ordered and are served straight off the grill.
Later that evening we received a call from a man demanding a refund on the fajitas. We asked him to take his wife to ER or a Med Check to be checked out for our insurance purposes. It would be at no cost to them as our insurance would cover it. He refused.
He then threatened that he would ruin our restaurants reputation as he knew alot of people.
As a business we come across people that are always looking for a way to get a free meal. When we asked them to go be checked out and they refused it makes us wonder.
We take pride in our business and very seldom have a complaint. We will refund the price of the fajitas but still feel her problem could have been the flu and not as a result from our food.
