Southern Bell Consignment & Thrift

Review: Southern Bell Consignment and Thrift agreed to sell my gas range within thirty days. If after that time the range was not sold, they agreed to purchase it from me in the amount of $50.00. I placed the item in their store to be sold for $100.00. The actual amount that I would receive would be $50.00. The female manager/owner wrote all of the details of the agreement on a receipt and she and I both signed it, making it a wrtten agreement. The female manager/owner even said that she would try to sell it for more. Prior to them picking up the item, they were very much aware that the range was a gas range. I returned to the store after thirty days and at that time, the male manager/owner advised me that selling gas ranges was hard. He said that he had not been able to sell the gas range. He then told me that he didnt know why the other manager/ owner accepted the range from me. He then proceeded to tell me that electric ranges are what most people buy.He told me that he could not give me $50.00 and that I could pick up the range and take it with me. He acted as if he was totally unaware of the entire transaction, when he stood next to the other manager/owner and looked at the photograph of the range on my cell phone the same day the receipt/written agreement was written and signed. I had taken a photogragh of the range and showed it to both managers/owners prior to them picking it up. The photo was very clear. These managers/owners had thirty days to contact me to let me know that selling the item might be a problem. They never contacted me. We have a signed writen agreement.Its supposed to be a legitimate business.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for the agreed amount of $50.00.
