Mr [redacted] has a sales practice of manipulating/tricking consumers into a year agreement when they request a year agreement In June I bought a home at [redacted] I was approached by a local representative from Southeast Home Security, [redacted] ***, who sold me a home security systemI verbally stated I wanted a year contract several times during our initial interactionInstead of having me sign the year contract I requested, he had me sign a year contractBy the time I realized what took place and bought this discrepancy to his attention, he advised me it was too late and my only option is to pay an early termination penalty, transfer my service to wherever I move, or have someone take over my contract Last month I moved to a new residence, where I was asked to sign another contract in order to have the system transferredAt that point I did not feel comfortable signing anything else with this company, as I feel they are not rep
