Bought a used vehicle .. the dealer did not fill out bill of sale.. on the RMV1 form the dealer did not provide the correct information . ommiting sales use tax id number or filled out causing me to go back to registry three times .. I am attempteng today to go back without id # as dealer says not needed only dollar amount and tax paid needed. I am elderly and feel taken advantage of as when I call dealer they say they have no record of vehicle title and bill of sale are from southbridge st motors ...Product_Or_Service: 1993 CarDesired SettlementI want them to give me the federal id number if I go to registry today and they do not register my car because they ommited it ,

Bought a used car advertised with a 30 day warranty. Car is having electrical problems. They will not return my calls or help fix the car. am having with the used car we purchased from you on 12/16/2014 and to request you remedy the issues or purchase the car back including the cost of repairs I have made to the car. Before taking delivery I pointed out to you the fact the battery light (visible in the pictures you had posted online I have copies of) was on in the car and there was a burned out light on the transmission indicator of the car. Both were "taken care of" before delivery. At delivery you told me "the battery light was just a wire the mechanic had not replaced when working on the alternator". You pointed out to me the car's key fob was only working sporadically witch you attributed to "a bad remote battery". In hind site these were symptoms of a serious electrical problem. I called you on Saturday 12/27/14 and left a message asking to speak with your mechanic as I had been stopped by electrical problems on my trip to Florida. On Friday 12/26/14 the voltage indicator began reading over charging of the battery. The indicator would go to the top the headlights would brighten and then it would fall and become normal again. We could not continue on our trip and were thus forced to stop, rent a room at a cost of $92.00 and seek a mechanic in North Charleston, SC. The dealer could not see us so we went to Meineke who replaced a battery and the alternator with internal voltage regulator for a total of $731.82. (see attached invoice). We continued on but within the hour the problem returned. We stopped at [redacted] in [redacted], [redacted] where the manager was stumped. We limped the car to our destination in Florida with the lights flickering all of the AC and electronics turned off to protect them from the over-voltage and brought the car to Mike Erdman Toyota service where it remained for most of our vacation. Please see attached invoices totaling $146.35. The Toyota dealer recommended a new alternator.Friday Jan 2, 2015 [redacted] in [redacted] Florida replaced the alternator but the problem continued. They spent hours looking for the problem as the owner has one of the same cars and had similar issues. He believes that water from a leaking windshield we have (that will need to be repaired by you should we keep the car) was corroding the circuitry under the dashboard. After another $300.27 (receipt enclosed) we were on our way with a working car. We made it home but now the same thing is happening again rendering the car not drivable. We also spent over $800 having the worn shocks and struts replaced as well as the broken sway bar linkage the car was sold to us with. The ad you posted on Craigslist and on your web page have a "thirty day guarantee" and pronounce the car as 100% functional (a copy of the ad is enclosed). At this time I request one of two solutions:One: you fix the car, (including the leaking windshield I know you were aware of as there was a towel on the dash to catch the water during my test drive) warranty the repairs and give us comparable alternative transportation while it is being repaired as well as reimbursement for the repair and hotel money we have spent totaling $2070.44.Two: you return my trade in and the $3500 differential we paid for the Sequoia plus the above spent $2070.44 plus registration fees of $320.00.Should you not make one of the above two remedies in a timely manner we will be forced to attempt the repair at the Toyota dealer and we will seek restitution of monies spent in a court of law. Please call or email as soon as you receive this letter or I will begin the repair process once it is confirmed you have received. Sincerely,[redacted] and [redacted]Desired Settlementrepair the car or refund my money and the money I have spent to try and fix it.Business Response RE: Case # XXXXXX: Mr/Mrs [redacted].Mr [redacted] had this 2004 Toyota Sequoia for two days prior to signing the sells agreement on the 16th of Dec. 2014. The following day Mr [redacted] told me that he had taken the Sequoia to his mechanic [redacted] and Shrewsbury Meineke or Midas. Mr [redacted] requested for $1,100.00 price break which I declined. He then requested to iron this issue out with his wife. Two minutes later he told me that the wife agreed to my terms and that they will take the truck. I am sorry to hear about the difficulty you have experienced with the vehicle. We stand behind the warranty that is offered under the document entitled "Limited Used Vehicle Warranty".The language contained in the warranty clearly states that the warranty is in effect for 30 days or 1,250 miles whichever comes first. The Odometer Disclosure Statement and the MassDOT RMV-1 Form indicate the had 143,551 miles at time of sale. Meineke in South Carolina indicates that the vehicle had 145,056miles at the time of the incident. The mileage at the time of repair exceeded the allowed warranty mileage.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Please show me any warranty disclosure signed by the [redacted] family. Additionally I took the Sequoia to Ashland Motors the mechanic of the dealer. The head mechanic at Ashland motors called me to say "Your car needs a Toyota alternator. The Re-manufactured Alternators do not work in Toyota vehicles." The dealer's mechanic then went on to explain he researched the problem online and was confident this was the problem as was the Toyota Dealer. When I first viewed this vehicle it had a battery light on. I asked that this be cured before taking delivery. It was. I was told by the owner [redacted] that the light was on due to "a wire that was left loose when the alternator was changed" So it appears to me that this issue is and was known by Southbridge St autos.Final Business Response It exist with your signature.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Please provide the signed original document signed in pen by [redacted] for our inspection.
