Review: My wife and I are in our late 70's and live on Social Security income and financial support from our son. We needed our roof deck to be repaired and asked Southbridge for an estimate in March. [redacted]'s partner [redacted] gave us a quote of $16.4K. After researching Revdex.com and [redacted] ratings, and finding no red flags, we paid a $9.9K deposit. As soon as they got the money, we were told the deck had to be redesigned and the cost rose to $26K. After months of delays and no actual work being done to repair the deck, in October my son asked for our deposit to be returned. I followed up with a certified letter, but have received no response. It's been a terrible experience.Desired Settlement: Refund of my deposit of $9,970.20, paid to Southbridge on April 23, 2013.
