South Western Law Group

Review: The South Western Law Group told me they would prepare documents for me to send to my bank for a loan modification. They told me initially that I qualified for the modification and that they had someone that worked with M&T bank specifically and knew all the requirements; therefore, I should be eligible for the modification. I was told I would have to make 3 installment payments; totaling $2,988. After all the payments were made; I have been unable to get a hold of anyone concerning my modification. I've left repeated email messages to the representatives and have also left phone messages. I have never received any correspondence from South Western Law Group in response to what happened with the denial. The only response I received was a phone call from M&T bank telling me that my modification was denied because it was not my primary residence. South Western Law Group; knew this property was not my primary residence from the beginning and should never have taken my money for a modification; knowing that I did not qualify initially for the modification. I feel I was mislead and that my money was taken for a service that was not provided.Desired Settlement: I feel I should be refunded my money; as there is no way to correct the service; since I never met the criteria for the modification according to M&T bank.

Review: Fraudlent loan modifiaction scamDesired Settlement: Paid 22,000 for a loan modification and now I cannot get in contact with the company. If this not an ligitimate law firm, I want action taken against them. In addtion, let the public know of the law firms illegal practices so this does not happy to anyone else.
