I am a local contractor, my prices do not change based on weatherComplaintant was out of town and I was contacted by her brother *** ***We were hired to clean all trees up from broken branches, there is not a broken branch left in the treesI stated a price of $and he told me to
come do itIf that price was too high, should have tried to find someone else*** was never there when her brother and I discussed the scope of workThe quote/invoice clearly states to remove broken branches, it doesn't say anything about thinning or lifting canopyI told customer that if she wanted additional work done, I would be happy to come speak to her and see what exactly she wants for an additional priceThis customer would never answer her phone when I would try calling her, she txt me a few times and then quit respondingWe did her a great job and did everything her brother and I agreed toI also tried to call her brother a couple times to see what was going on(since it was he and I that made the agreement) and he also didn't answer or return my callsWe had to go back and finish a couple limbs because our pole saw broke the day we were there*** paid us even though we still had to go backIf we were a company out to screw people, I would have never shown back upI didn't even put her check in the back until the day we were going back over thereCome to find out, she stopped payment on that check and it cost me an additional $As far as giving her money back, I under charged for that jobIt took us about 8hrs total of both days to complete work, that is a very fair priceIf price was too high, I understand and encourage people to shop around***s brother told us to do it for that price and *** knew what it was before we started the work. Sorry to write this long message, but I am not a person that tries to screw over anyoneI would be more than happy to provide all my customers for last months and also provide Revdex.com with the quote/invoiceAs far as money back, I am sorry but I can't provide thatI learned a valuable lesson from this, I will never do a job or make an agreement with anyone that is not the home owner or paying the check. I am rejecting this response because:I was there both times they came to my house and spoke to "uncle" about trimming treesHe assured me that they would "clean up trees and cut back ones hanging over house" I paid the first day because I was told they did not have the correct tool to reach top of tress and would be back to finish jobI stopped payment on check when no one came back.I will not spend anymore time disputing thisI will never use their services again and will not recommend them
