[redacted] was very quick to respond to my phone callsHe was friendly and professionalThe repairs were done in a timely manner

This roofing contractor was very quick to respond which we thought was great. They "completed" the work same day as well. The day after heavy rain hit and my roof was still leaking in the same area that was “repaired”. We found out the roof was still leaking because South Texas Roofing had not repaired the roof where repairs were needed. At the time of their arrival, the ceiling in the house was caved in and they came inside the house and saw through the rafters to the underside of the roof, so there was no question of the area that was in need of repair. The only repairs made were done on 3 roof vents that were never leaking. The 4th vent that was leaking was never repaired. Disappointing because they came in the house and looked at the area that was leaking, there was no ceiling and they could see the rafters and OSB roof decking that was very clearly wet. One of the vents that they repaired, they did not re-install the tar paper and silicone caulk was used instead of proper roof sealant. We’ve since contacted a second roofer who replaced the tar paper and sealed everything using proper roof sealant, they also sealed the remaining two vents. We did contact South Texas Roofing to come back the next day, however changed our minds because of our lack of confidence with this roofing contractor. We called on a second roofing contractor who repaired the poor quality and lack of repairs on work that South Texas Roofing was supposed to have repaired. I would not recommend South Texas Roofing for home shingle roof repairs. The cost of “repairs” done by South Texas Roofing was much higher in comparison to other companies, we used them because they were able to come the same day.

South Texas Roofing repaired our roof today and we couldn't be happierVery reasonable prices, excellent commmunication with us from start to finish, and completed more work than we initially anticipated, but still within budget and time constraintsWe would hire them again, without question

South Texas Roofing replaced my roof and installed flashing and I paid him in full I did not notice until several weeks later that around the back of the house, the flashing is extremely distorted and crumpled Also, there are shingles in the back that are raised up and not nailed down Bees have attempted to nest there I have texted the owner, Michael San Miguel twice and I have called him once The phone number he uses for the business (210.371.9982) does not accept voice mail messages I texted MrSan Miguel the second time to let him know that if he did not return my text or call within week, I would file a complaint with the Revdex.com It has been weeks and so I am now filing the complaint I hope he returns my messages and corrects the problems he created on my roof Furthermore, the workers used my city trashcan to hold items they were cutting with a saw and they cut a slit in the lid of the city trashcan
