To whom it may concern:
South Texas Center for Pediatric Care is staffed only by Board Certified or Board eligible Pediatricians and Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
The office sees patients by appointments only. Patients are scheduled with their preference...

Provider. However if there are no appointments available with the preferred Provider, the patient is offered an urgent care appointment or same day appointment with an available Provider. We have no “RN” to see patients.
The father was rude and abrasive to the staff. The father was offered an appointment to see the Provider on the same day within hours of his call. We do not double booked appointments. The office staff makes every effort to provide same day sick appointments. The staff followed the directive of the Physician (who was in the office with the Nurse Practitioner and would have provided direct supervision for the care of the patient.) The patient was offered an appointment by a qualified provider.
