the rent. She had her electricity disconnected in the process of her finding someone else to pay the rent. It was disconnected for over a week and the refrigerator in that apartment was damaged from the food that was not taken out. She had a friend, who she indicated to me was her roommate who would be helping her pay the rent; however no rent was received from her or her roommate. I actually had a difficult time getting her friend out of the apartment. It was up until the first week of October that I was able to take possession of this apartment. I have pictures of the condition the apartment was left in, of how they would leave bags of trash outside the balcony and and the signed lease. What do I need to do to respond to this complaint? I absolutely don't think that she should be getting any money back and feel there is no valid reason for her to break her contract. The times she had any repairs needed in her apartment, I had maintenance go out to her apartment to take care of a toilet and A/C.
