I was told by Steven R[redacted] last Thursday, September 29th, that my refund check would be mailed last Friday, September 30th. He asked me to call him if I didn't receive the check by Tuesday. I did not, but wanted to wait one more day before calling. After not receiving it Wednesday, I called him around 1:30 pm and left a message to this affect. He did not call me back, so I called him again Thursday afternoon, October 6th. He asked how I was doing and couldn't believe I hadn't received my check. After placing me on hold, he returned to say that it usually takes 4 - 6 weeks to receive it once they got proof of the refund. We got into a verbal altercation and he hung up on me. I immediately called Trey T[redacted], the General Manager. The receptionist said he was in a meeting. I asked to have him call me back before he left for the day. I have not heard from him or Steven R[redacted] I suppose the only thing left for me to do is to file a claim in small claims court to get this issue resolved.

First and foremost I would like to
personally apologize on behalf of my dealership. I am aware of the situation
that happened and I have taken care of it for you. I did make sure that the
check was sent out to your finance company on time and they stated...
they
received the check but never cashed it. When I became aware of the situation as
they stated they never received it, I made sure that check was canceled and
that there was another one sent out over night. Unfortunately, they did cash it
later then they received. I have spoken to your finance company, and yes they
do report if a payment is late but not around 30 days it is more towards 60
days. If they have reported to the Credit Bureau then I will personally
investigate and write a certified letter to the Credit Bureau and have them
correct your credit.
