Review: My wife contacted this company to do window tinting as a referral from a neighbor. She was quoted a price of $250, which she thought was very reasonable. Because of the referral and fair price, we scheduled to have the tint installed June 20th. When installation was completed, I was presented invoice for $300. This is 20% more than the quoted price. The invoice and work order were preprinted, so the price was predetermined before the installer arrived. I also gave the installer a small gratuity because I was aware of a traffic issue that he was going to be stuck in and wouldn't be home for a few hours. My wife was not present when I was given the invoice, and I was unaware of the quoted price. After numerous complaints, the owner of the company agreed to refund the difference. We still haven't received the refund. Our experience has led us to believe that the company has acted unethical in this particular manner.Desired Settlement: Refund the $50 the owner of the company promised.

Review: They had listed a promotion for 20% off any window tinting if you called and got an estimate. (i did call and get an estimate of $225 and was expecting 20% off that price)

This was listed under the "From the business" section on [redacted].com. I printed it out (from [redacted]) and they said they would not give them because the never give 20% off car window tinting and they would only give 10% off because that is there normal offer. I said that was not acceptable and they said sorry will not give you this. I said that this was bait and switch and also deceptive advertising and they still did not care.

Review: Installed window tinting on the back door which subsequently peeled. SJ tinting has a lifetime repair warranty against peeling. They repaired it incorrectly and made it worse. (Instead a replacing the complete film on the door they just cut out the affected panel and replaced it). When I contacted them again they repeatedly assured me someone will come and fix it. However it has been 5 months and no one has come to fix it yet.Desired Settlement: Repair the door window tinting as indicated on their warranty service agreement.
