Review: Today, my daughter goes into the [redacted] at [redacted] to get change for a $20 bill...at 8:10 am. The cashier says he does not have any ones. I tell her go back and buy something. She buys a Simply Lemonade and accidentally left it in the store because she was more concerned with my change being correct. She realized she left the store without her merchandise when we are almost to her school. So, after dropping her off, I went back and nicely explained to the cashier that my daughter had already purchased the lemonade that was still cold and on the counter. He said where is the receipt (15 mins later). I know I always tell her to get a receipt but for this person who never voluntarily gives a receipt to ask me for one when the drink is still cold and on the counter when she left it infuriated me. Keep in mind I am home today, dressed in sweats and bedroom slippers..so we know what he THOUGHT! At any rate, the cashier states that he got there at 8 am and that drink was there. I didn't leave my house until 8:08 to get there. So at this point he is thinking I am some sort of panhandler trying to "get" his a-- for a $2 Simply Lemonade. So I asked for the manager. He says he is the manager. I asked for the owner he said he "don't know how to get in touch with him". So I said ok...call the police. He says no you call. Finally, I called the police and she had to go back and forth with him to get the owner's information.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed for my Simply Lemonade and receive $24 for the time that cashier made me miss from my job (I make $48 per hour). I was teleworking and I feel like his foolishness mad me miss a 1/2 hour of work.
