South County Physical Therapy

I was told that I was "pre-approved" for physical therapy, and that I would have no out of pocket expenses for services. After 10 or so sessions, I received a letter stating I owed money. I also have a letter form South County Physical Therapy that confirm that I was told, that I was pre-approved by my medical insurance.Desired SettlementI was told that I would not have "out of pocket" expenses for physical therapy. I believe that South County Physical Therapy should honer their word and promise to me. Business Response It is our policy at SCPT, Inc to verify, as a courtesy to the patient, the patient's insurance benefits. We do however maintain that it is ultimately the patients responsibility to know their policy as we can only work on the information given to us, correct or incorrect, from the insurer.
