This rental company is extremely shady, dishonest and disorganized! I recently wrote a letter and postmarked it 11/26/giving days notice I actually gave them days advance notice because my fiance and I are moving out on 12/28/ They called me and tried to tell me that we owe them the full month's rent because they received the notice on the 1st I explained to them that it starts from the day it is postmarked under California rental law and they kept trying to tell me it was their policy If this is true, they never notified me of this policy and I have nothing in writing outlining this policy I told them I would not be paying for 12/through 12/and they hung up on me I am now afraid that I won't get my deposit back My place is in amazing shape and I have even done some repairs to it myself

I actually gave them 2 days advance notice because my fiance and I are moving out on 12/28/14. They called me and tried to tell me that we owe them the full month's rent because they received the notice on the 1st. I explained to them that it starts from the day it is postmarked under California rental law and they kept trying to tell me it was their policy. If this is true, they never notified me of this policy and I have nothing in writing outlining this policy. I told them I would not be paying for 12/29 through 12/31 and they hung up on me. I am now afraid that I won't get my deposit back. My place is in amazing shape and I have even done some repairs to it myself.
