Review: On Oct 31, 2012, I had a consultation with Dr. [redacted] regarding a root canal. He said he can do it then but before the procedure I asked his office staff the price and about credit cards. After the procedure I was told the same price and paid in full.

About two months later, Dr. **'s office sent me a bill for an additional 51.00. When I contacted them they said my dental insurance copay was higher than I paid.

I sent them an enclosed letter, dated Jan 6, 2013 and heard and heard nothing for the past 19 months. Two weeks ago, I got a phone called from a collection agency saying if I don't pay the $51.00 my credit would be ruined.

I am a very responsible person person. I asked the price before the procedure, paid their asking price in full and because they made a mistake I am being charged an additional unquoted amount of $51.00. I do not feel this is fair or ethical.

[redacted] Desired Settlement: I want them waive the additional $51.00 balance which was not quoted in the original amount I was asked to pay before and after treatment.
