Review: Mr.[redacted] sold my husband and I a used a/c compressor and unit for our house in March 2013. He made many promises and assured us that it would work. Approximately two months after it was installed I ran it for the first time. The unit ran but then after a few hours it would shut off. I continually called Mr. [redacted] to come and fix it. Every time he came to my residence it was another excuse to why the unit wasn't working. He is now unwilling to communicate with us directly and will not refund any of our original purchase money for the a/c or repair money that I have paid him.Desired Settlement: My husband and I would like a full refund for the amount paid to Mr. [redacted] for the repairs made to the a/c compressor and if possible a portion of the amount paid for the original purchase of the a/c unit.

Customer was warned against purchasing a used A/C unit and explained to them that if a used unit was purchased/installed that the parts in that unit could break down faster than a new unit and there was no way of knowing what the life of the unit or parts inside that unit would be. A/C Unit was used and sold to them in "as-is" condition. Unit was working fine after initial install and I was called out 4 separate times to fix the unit. Customer was only charged two of the four times to fix the unit and even then the only charges were for parts, not for labor. Customer was informed that the condenser in the unit was worn out and needed to be replaced, and if they purchased the condenser I would install that for them at no labor cost. Customer refused to purchase condenser.
