Soundview Pool

Review: In June of 2011, Soundview Pool was hired to paint our pool at 85 Tyler Drive. The process of re-painting the pool included selecting the appropriate paint, evaluating the condition of the pool, emptying the water, prepping, and painting. The job was completed in early June and we paid Soundview $2,409.92 on 6/9/2011 for the painting job which we were told would last 5 years. Once the painting was complete, water was delivered to refill the pool at a cost of $1208.40. Three weeks after the initial job was completed in early July, the paint began to bubble and peel and there were paint chips floating in the pool. Sounview Pool was notified of this development and they offered apologies as they may have used the wrong paint. In good faith they offered to repaint the pool again at their cost.In May of 2012 the process of emptying the pool, sand blasting, prepping, painting was done again; when the painting was completed we had to have the pool re-filled at a cost of $1,405.82The job was completed in early June and after 4 weeks the paint peeled yet again, and again we have paint chips were floating in the water. Now, the pool needs to be sandblasted are re-painted again this year!At this juncture we have invested a total of $ 5024.14; 2409.92 for you to paint the pool and $2614.22 for water to re-fill the pool twice. Since the painting was not performed and executed properly, and we now have to paint the pool for a third time, we are requesting a complete refund as the job was not done properly. In good faith, we are requesting a refund of the painting as well as the costs we incurred to refill the pool twice.
