This service is way over priced. The capacitor that was replaced costs around $15-$20, but was replaced with one that costs around $100 at the most, and I'm sure that they probably get a bulk discount. I had a coupon that waived the $89 diagnostic fee. That means that I payed $249 labor (does that mean they charge $500/hr?!?!) for the whole 25 min that the tech was here. I called twice to discuss the problem. The first time, (almost immediately after tech left), I was told that I would be called back within two days, which I was not. I called back and was told that the person who I needed to talk to was then out for four days, and I would be called upon his return to work, but probably wouldn't do anything for me. I am still waiting for that call. There was no breakdown of the charges on the invoice. I think that they took advantage of me because they know that it was really hot outside and the A/C was needed, so they figured they would charge an outrageous amount. I told them they can come back and take their capacitor back, and was told that they would have to charge me another "service" fee, and then the hourly.
Very poor customer service.
Needless to say, but I will definitely not be working with this company in the future.
I contacted Cool-Way Air and Heat when my A/C unit stopped blowing cold air. From the initial phone call I felt comfortable with the company I chose to repair my A/C unit. The office staff was so nice and kind and she had a tech at my home within about an hour of me calling the office. [redacted] arrived at my home and was phenomenal!!! [redacted] went out of his way to show me what he was doing and educate me on why the unit was not doing what it was suppose to and how he was going to repair it. [redacted] explained everything perfectly and was so knowledgeable, he had an answer to every one of my questions.
I did my research before contacting an A/C repair company and Cool-Way really lived up to their outstanding reviews. [redacted] was able to repair my A/C unit, however, it will need to replaced within the next year or so and the only company I want and will trust to do it is Cool-Way Air and Heat!!!
[redacted] never pressured me or tried to up sell me on anything crazy. He was very honest and professional and it was a great experience dealing with him.

The technician, Will, was very experience and helpful in helping us understand our warm air coming out of vents even when the heat or air was not running. He checked every item and answered every question, about every item - vents, thermostat - we had for him. We know who to call now when we are here in Orlando and need service for our heater/air conditioner. Call Cool-Way if you want fast, good service

the work they have done for me. They are always on time and never a long wait if the air conditioner was not acting properly. William B has done the maintenance service and is such a nice person to deal with. I have recommended this company to all I know who are looking to purchase an air conditioning unit.

Had a serious air conditioning problem and called and talked with Larry S. He immediately sent out his tech Jason C. on a Saturday with only hours notice who showed up and fixed the problem ASAP which was leaking in my house and garage. I have 8 people in my house who needed air conditioning with 2 small grandchildren. I will only use Cool-Way from now on. They are honest and quick to respond to fix your problem even with short notice on a busy weekend. A great family run business with integrity and doing whatever it takes to help people out. It's nice knowing you can count on Cool-Way when you really need a reliable and trustworthy company when your air conditioning goes out in the middle of summer. Thank you again Cool-Way.
