? Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Sound World Solutions did not offer or recommend a dehumidifier.? They did not have such a device on their product list.? The company did not even remotely suggest the need for a dehumidifying device.? Sound World Solutions offered and sold a product with no stipulations about the device needing to be stored or used with a dehumidifying box.? Sound World Solutions is responsible for the product warranty Sincerely, [redacted]
Thank you for responding The company's response to the customer's complaint is this: The customer had indeed purchased our product and had in the past sent in his device for inspection and repair. Sweat/moisture was found on his device and needed replacement. We proceeded
to replace the device for him at no charge and he was made aware of the issue at the time and told us he would do his best to avoid it getting sweat/moisture (we have the email string regarding this conversation). Well, this time he sent us his device and power adapter. The device once again had sweat/moisture damage but this time the power adapter was also corroded due to moisture exposure. Therefore, we informed the customer that this time he had to pay for a replacement device and we recommended he purchase a hearing aid drying box to help prevent sweat/moisture buildup on the device. That being said, the corrosion to the power adapter suggests that it was exposed to moisture or water and that possibly the device was exposed as well Thank you, *** *** Audiologist

All hearing aid manufacturers recommend a hearing aid drying kit, so we are not the first ones to do so? This indicates that all hearing devices are susceptible to any excessive moisture/sweat exposure, just like any other electronic device on the market. Our argument is, and will remain, the power adapter's corrosion along with the device's sweat/moisture damage? How did the power adapter get corroded if it were not exposed to sweat/moisture? ? It is obvious that the hearing aid and power adapter must have been exposed to water or such to explain the corrosion. We replaced his device once before but this time it is the customer's responsibility for the corrosion on both the device and power adapter? He has yet to address the corrosion on the power adapter. We offered the customer a brand new device for a reasonable fee?
