I began talking with *** on December 9, 2019.
I am a mother of 4 who had just had and extremely bad bout of depression where I was physically unable to control myself. ***
I reached out to *** in desperate times looking for guidance and hopefully learn coping strategies and a new positive way of living life.
I made an appointment to discuss with her what our plan would be and to decide if she is what I needed to help me through.
That initial appointment had to be rescheduled due to *** having a sore throat.
The following week we finally talked. It was a quick 30 min call, where I was told the price ($1550) and when I said I would discuss with my husband she did not seem happy with that. She was quick to say, 'that's what everyone says and husbands usually convince you not to do it.'
I received a message from *** early the next morning asking if I had made a decision. I told her my husband said to give it a try and she was quick to send the invoice and ask for it to be paid in full ($1632.75).
In a vulnerable state I was hesitant, but I sent it. ***
I decided I would hold off before starting our chats till I was home from Hawaii on Jan 16th 2020.
I was so excited for my 1st appointment on Jan 22! 2 hrs before our call I received a message that she would have to cancel due to a 'family emergency?
I understood and decided to rearrange appointments to make it work once again.
Looking forward to my next appointment Feb 5th it was also cancelled due to her being on holiday.
So I rearranged once again and was really excited for my 1st appointment Feb 19th
I got my kids a babysitter, I ended an appointment early, rushed home so I was ready to lean in and learn. 20 min before I should have chatting *** let me know her car was in the shop so she had to cancel.
I am absolutely heartbroken at the outcome of all of this. I have asked for a refund which she refuses to give. In her contract it states there will be no refund (SO BE WARNED). Although she has broken the contract her self by not following through with her part of the deal she refuses to refund me my money.
I have been offered 2 extra sessions (with a person a distrust!) or $150
I am disappointed that someone with such little empathy, accountability and conscience is allowed to call herself a 'LIFE COACH? and prey on vulnerable people.
I have also now been blocked from *** which is her main form of social media.
