To who it may concern. Yes I did work for [redacted] last year with her kitchen. I might add so did my daughter. We never had a problem with that project. So I thought that we would be fine with a verbal agreement. My first mistake. As the project got underway [redacted] started changing things....

Adding things like a privatize screen, different lighting, adding more under deck lighting, wanting a beach look to the walls, upgrading the composite decking to a more expensive product. So we did everything she asked.I told her we were over budget and how much. She was fine with that one day then the next its not okay. So I said fine the only thing that will go over will be sales tax. Then we are done. We were over by almost $4300.00 dollars. Which I have eaten on the project. She refused to pay any extra. Also all my customers know if there is any issues to call me and I will take care of them. I told her the same thing. She never called just sent me a letter stating she is demanding a refund of $4600.00 dollars. As for my daughter working for me. I have checked again with L & I we are in compliance with them and it fine. Why was it ok for her to work on the kitchen but not on the deck?She is right I did build it with out a permit. That was my mistake and I'm taking care of that. That will add to my loss another $516.00. I have contacted my attorney in this matter and he's taking care of it for me. If it has to we will be going to court on this matter. I don't feel I can go back to her house because she will never be satisfied with any of the repairs.
