Customer was given a full refund for the fee they were charged when they made us aware of the situationThere is no proof that anything we did caused the cooktop to have a problem, as it was their existing cooktop and not a brand new oneThe electrical problem could have stemmed from other causes,
but we did issue the refund to the customer in good faith so they could hire the electrician to rectify the situation with their cooktop

Business responded to rejection stating that their original response is the same.  The do not feel that the consumer has any proof that they caused the issue when they repair the appliance

they have no proof that it isn't their fault is simply not true.  Our
cooktop was working perfectly fine before they took it out and put it
back together all wrong and put our family in danger.  The Sortie worker
admitted to us that he had never put one of these in before but his
boss Kim L[redacted] told him  he had to.  He clearly did not know what he
was doing and Kim knows this to be true.  The pictures speak for
themselves.  The statement from the electrician on the bill says it
all.  Cooktop was working fine before, but was not after they hooked it
back up.  It's clearly obvious it is their fault.  Shame on them for
saying "there is no proof".
