Review: I came to the office on February [redacted]. The advertisement is that they will find you a furnished or unfurnished room. Whatever location you want in the 5 boroughs. I explained that I preferred the room in a private house and there would be no children on the premises. Regardless of my request the first room she sent me was in a building 5th floor and was a room that fit just a Twin bed and the gentleman was asking for $200. I told her no. I came back to the office she sent me to another room this one was In a private house. The apartment itself was clean. The problem was I would be sharing the basement apartment with an autistic child. The father of the boy would be upstairs in the house. Of course I declined. I have called her numerous times I have left her several messages she has not responded. I called her on March [redacted] & spoke to her explained that since she hasn't found anything or hasnt bothered to returned phone calls that I wanted a refund back of the fee which was $150. I came into the office on March [redacted] with my debit card so she can post back the money. She was not at the office. Her employee called her on her cell and explained why I was there. She got on the phone with me. She first wanted the application back (something that she already has a copy) & she didn't mention on the phone conversation. She proceeded in explaining that it takes 3-5 business days I told her that's for me to wait once she does the transaction. I stated since I spoke to her on Tuesday then by Friday I should see something?! She then states no it takes 7 days. At this point I think the business is not legal and she is trying to stay with the fee and has not rendered any services. I don't want any further dealings with this business I just want my full entire refund of $150.Desired Settlement: I want the $150 either returned back to my card or in cash. Whatever she prefers as long as the refund is made asap.
