Hello, This is my response to Case ID [redacted] : The job is not complete and the customer HAS NOT PAID FOR THE JOB IN FULL YET The remaining items were somewhat weather dependant and a sub-contractor has been hired to complete the work and will be completing it in the next week Why in the world would a person lodge a complaint with the Revdex.com for work that’s not been completed when they’ve not paid for that work? They have to give the contractor time to deal with the unusually cool and damp conditions of this spring We didn’t want to build posted steps with the weather we’ve been having but as soon as the weather started to turn I had someone lined up to complete the small amount of work remaining, after which I will ask for payment from the customer This, in my opinion, is a pretty petty and ridiculous complaint as I’ve stayed in communication with the customer the entire time Thanks, Nick M R [redacted] General Manager KCB Property Management KCB Home Improvement 765-446-
I’ve included the original estimate in our response. The removal of the old subfloor and walls is for the shower area only to prep for the new drop in shower surround. The rest of the subfloor was inspected and a couple pieces replaced despite it not being in the original
estimate. The flooring that the client chose was a snap together tile that’s used with a flex grout. The original laborer used solid grout and that issue was corrected (grout removed and new flex grout used). We’ve also made more than one trip to correct some cosmetic issues. We have also tried to contact Mrs*** to repair or replace the bathroom entry door but have not, to this point, been able to establish a time to repair with her.
The home is a 100+ plus year old farmhouse with unlevel/eneven floor joists. Removal of the subfloor OSB sheets WOULD NOT solve this issue. Our salesman/estimator did make the ***s aware of this potential issue before the project. We are fully prepared to stand by our initial estimate and work completed and have every intention of correcting any issues to that completed work but will not be going outside of that scope of work to do extra work without a change order and additional payment
Thank you,
Nick M R***
