When the customer’s order was delivered, the customer had stated the sauce on the wings was wrong, the waitress (who happens to be part owner), immediately took them back to be corrected. A new order was brought back to the customer within 5 minutes. This quick turnaround time was due to the kitchen already having chicken wings in the fryer for a to-go order; those wings were used for the mix-up. When the new corrected order was brought back, the customer immediately asked if the chicken wings were rinsed off and re-sauced. The waitress explained they were not, and the customer said OK. The waitress checked on the table two times after that with no problems being mentioned by the customer “everything was fine”. After the meal was eaten, the customer went to the bar to cash out. The register employee was unaware of the situation and was being badgered by the customer about the “rinsed off wings”. Nervous and confused she miss-reads the handwriting on the bill and tells the customer a higher price than what the bill actually was. This was immediately corrected with the customer when both the clerk and the customer reviewed the bill. At this time the original waitress, not knowing there were any issue at this point, enters the room to be harassed loudly and abruptly by the customer. The customer stating, “You should be ashamed of yourself for rinsing those wings off, that’s disgusting” and she was going to let all of her [redacted] friends know, stating “and I have a lot of them!” Not knowing the customer was there and being caught off guard, the waitress did not say anything back. If the customer had a problem and didn’t believe the order was right why didn’t she address this at the time she was eating them. Again twice after the new wings were delivered, while the customer was eating them, it was stated “everything was fine”.
