I requested for my PS4 to be repaired by Manufacturing and Technology Centre (MTC), the only authorized service centre in Canada for Playstation repairs. I was charged twice on my Visa Debit by the company for the single PS4 I sent out. My service request number is W-07740404, and I have talked to multiple employees, and a supervisor at Sony. Over many calls, and even after receiving two shipment boxes, even though I only authorized one, I have received no support or help from Sony. They told me to talk to my bank CIBC, and ask them to stop the two "authorizations", and also told me that they only received one request but I was charged for two. CIBC has stated my only option is to apply for a fraud investigation. At the beginning they told me that the charge for the PS4 repair would be $170 Canadian, but the first charge was $170 American ($240), as was the second. So now I have paid a total of $460, basically the price of a new PS4.
