I purchased a car from legacy on september the 18th 2017. I traded in a car at the same time that was suppose to be paid off in 21 days, by state law.
Legacy has yet to pay the car off by contract, it has been over 40 days since my 2008 corvette was traded in! which legacy has sold to another customer weeks ago, without a title which is fraud!
and theft by deception. But yet the $19,996.89 cent pay off still exist!
pay off the car as stated in the contract!
Lien has been paid in full...lien holder received check via fedex overnight.
It took the dealership over two months to pay off my trade in, and has yet to refund me the difference in the pay off.
On 17 Aug 17, I purchased a 2017 Silverado from Legacy, Columbus, GA. I traded in a 2015 Silverado and paid cash for the remaining balance. It took Legacy over two months to pay off my truck I traded in, and to this date (9 Nov 17) I still have not received the $1,754.64 which is the difference in the pay off at the time I traded the truck in to when Legacy actually got around to paying off my truck. I sent numerous emails to Ms., Ms. with no response. This is the epitome of poor business and customer appreciation. I will ensure everyone I know...knows the experience I had with this dealership.
Pay me the *** money you owe me! I signed a contract and upheld my end, you do the same!
We apologize for the delay. The check will go out today.
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
But what a unremorseful response to what is obviously an accepted practice in that organization based on the other similar complaints. The check is in the mail...really!! Wow. None the less Revdex.com thanks for your assistance.
We traded in a vehicle to purchase a new one and they haven't paid off our trade-in within the 30 day window.
We purchased a truck on September 22, 2017. We traded in a 2007 Toyota 4-Runner. The dealership wrote in $13,000 for our trade-in and we were to roll over $300 into our financing. As of today October 24th, 2017 they still haven't paid off our trade-in and are giving us the run around on when it will be paid off. The car payment became delinquent on October 20th,2017. I made a payment in the amount of $302 on October 23th, 2017 so that it does not hurt our credit.
We are wanting our trade-in to be paid off in full. We would also like to be reimbursed for the payment I had to make. We would also like a reimbursement for the extra money that was financed in to pay the vehicle off.
Vehicle was paid in full on 10/24. Once free and clear title is received, customer will be refunded any monies owed. This has been previously communicated to Ms..
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
As of today 10/27/2017 the vehicle has not been paid off. Also, I was never communicated with, not via email nor phone call about a reimbursement for the payment I had to make due to their negligence of not paying the trade in off.
My wife and I found a killer deal on Chevys click, sign and drive website for a 2017 crew cab 4 Wheel Dr. pickup truck. We went so far as to close the deal online which does say it is an estimate for all intensive purposes. However the intent of the website as to do just that click sign in drive pending financing. My wife and I had gone in and the general manager said he would not honor the deal. His name is ***. The truck on the website was listed MSRP four $37,950. It had available rebates of $8574. Price after all offers was $29,376. Net sales price with dealer fees came out to 30,040.
Not once did he say he was NOT going to honor the deal but twice. After GM's Executive Customer Service team was notified at X (XXX)X*** (ext. XXXXXXX) they said everything I had found was Not legitimate. However everything was on Chevy's Click drive and sign web sight.

I think the site above is legit. Copy and paste in your browser to see for yourself.
If there was a way to upload documents or screen shots I would post everything to include the phone recording with General Motors as well as the discussions with the folks at Legacy Chevrolet in Columbus GA.
GM will not work with you on fantastic deals nor will legacy. I have now an entire file kept on Legacy if anyone is interested on what they wouldn't honor I will send you to see for yourself.
Their customer service is horrible and their "holier than thou attitude's" are absolutely ridiculous. I know for a fact today the new owners of legacy Chevrolet in Columbus we're supposed to be coming to the store. As I'm sure they've all put their game faces on and acted like little perfect angels. Oh did I let the cat out of the bag*** got bought out by Legacy and legacies owners just changed over in were bought out by somebody else. I would love to find the owners and let them know exactly what's going on within the confines of their walls. Sorry I'm a little bitter right now.
I don't recommend anybody to go to this dealership for anything not even if it was the last place on earth.
Please call me if there are any questions. I will gladly email my file to you as well as share voice recordings and conversations to prove to you how much of dirtbags these folks really are!
Two months have passed, and the trade-in vehicle has not been paid off by dealer, thus affecting my credit.
On August 14 2017, I traded in a 2012 cadillac, and purchased a 2017 Cadillac. To this date, Oct 16 2017, the trade in vehicle has not been paid off, and my credit has been adversely affected due to late payments. I was only notified of this matter through my credit reporting, and feel Legacy Chevrolet has done a disservice to myself and my credit by not acting on paying off the trade-in within a timely manner.
Payoff the balance due, and assist in cleaning up my credit report
This was previously paid and we have communicated this to the customer.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This was not previously paid as of the date of this fling. Cadillac only mailed the check on 16 October 2017 after I filed a complaint and personally contacted them about this situation. If it was previously paid, please provide the date and the details when they communicated this to me. This is a total lie from Legacy Cadillac.
Incompotent and rude service personel. Refuse to follow through or fix warrentied repairs. They sold me a lemon and did not offer to buy it back.
Rude, dismissive service department.
Would not fix my vehicle properly dispute safety issues.
When I Would go up or get my car the service dept would leave and lovk the doors, early.
The service department threatened me to bring back a loaner even though my car was not fixed or done.
Several times the dealer did not fix my cars issues and them told me to leave
Service manager lied about my not being aloud on property. But in fact the still had to fix the warrenty repair work. They misread emails from GM.
Several time in the shop and no resolution to my repairs concerned.
All of this causing stress and found more work to find long distance service dealers.
A hardship and stress inducer to not know why my car is broke and service won't take any time to figure it out.
traveling in area, SUV was making noise, I took it to Legacy for repairs
legacy identified the problem as the power steering pump. Replaced it, but replaced it at an inflated price according to other dealers. I was out of town, traveling with my teen daughter. My husband not with us. As we got closer to St. Louis, noticed the noise returned. The SUV started leaking a fluid. took it too dealer and it was the power steering fluid leaking out. Turns out it wasn't the power steering pump that need to be replaced it was the brake booster, hydrobooster leaking power steering fluid. I will have to replace this part at a much cheaper price than the $878.00. that Legacy charged me for a power steering pump that would have cost about $476.00 anywhere else. They took advantage of me being a black women, traveling without benefit of husband. OnStar tried to talk to dealer about piece but they would not reconsider, they also refuse to give me the GM discount for being a GM wife. We called but no one has called us back, after 1 month of calling, a worker in service department name Trucky.
I would like a full refund. someone called me name Niecey asking if I wanted to buy a new Escalade today but no one about my issues.
After looking at the repair order it appears that there was also a power steering flush performed on the vehicle, in addition to the power steering pump being replaced. The other concerns with the vehicle I can not speak to as the vehicle was not returned here for the second repair I know this was not possible as you were traveling through town. I can not say whether this was a related repair or a completely different repair.
Thank you,
Legacy Management
On September 1 20 16, my credit was ran through several financial institions without my consent. The salesman stated only one inquiry will appear.
I now have 5 inquiries that has a negative impact on my overall credit. The salesman stated only 1 will run and that would be through Legacy, after reviewing my credit there are several JPMorgan Chase, Capital One, GM FInancial, Suntrust, and Legacy. This is not acceptable and not anything I agreed to.
Request they have letter sent to remove all inquiries that I did not agree or approve upon and complete removal from my credit report.

We send your credit application out to several banks in order to find the best interest rate for your car purchase. You gave your consent when you signed your credit application, which I do have if you need a copy. The credit application states "You authorize us to submit this application and any other application submitted in connection with the proposed transaction to the financial institutions disclosed to you by us the dealers; in addition, in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act , you authorize that such financial institutions may submit your applications to other financial institutions for the purpose of fulfilling your request to apply for credit."
I will be happy to give you a copy of the credit application that you signed, if needed.
This has not been resolved and I do not agree with the company response nor tactic. I was advised by the
salesperson they run my credit within their company ONCE. I have over 15 -20 different inquiries across the 3
credit bureaus and this is hindering me from refinancing my car, obtaining credit offers with a lower interest rate
among other things. This was a misrepresentation by the salesperson and I would like to see it in writing as
stated by the company.
Legacy hasn't paid off my trade in on a purchase dating back almost two months ago.
On April 8, 2017, I traded a 2014 GMC Sierra for a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado. Lately, I've been receiving delinquent notices from the credit union that They haven't received the payoff from Legacy. I've called Legacy many times and talked to the person in charge of this but I'm getting nothing but promises and being told they would contact me once payment is made. It's been almost two months since I've traded in the vehicle and it's still not paid off. If this effects my credit whatsoever, I will consider legal action.
Pay off my trade in before it effects my credit.
