Initially Modern Log Homes, SonPointe Log Homes and [redacted] served us well [redacted] 's wife [redacted]  was absolutely wonderful to work with; she was responsive, knowledgeable, and very helpful However, after we took possession of our new home, the contractor who did a good job and who we trusted, abruptly left Modern Log HomesThen [redacted] , the owner of Modern Log Homes and SonPointe Log Homes was unwilling to abide by his/their written warranty [redacted]  refused to completely fix items on our punch list, several of which were/are major He told us to be patient, and that he would contact subs to fix our items, but many months went by without any response from himWhen we finally re-contacted him he gave one excuse after another as to why he would do nothing more on our punch list We have almost a year's worth of e mail exchanges documenting [redacted] 's lack of standing by his written warranty, lack of follow through, and general discourteous, dishonest, and dismissive attitudeWe would never do business with Modern Log Homes, SonPointe Log Homes or [redacted]  again, and based on our experience, would caution anybody else about trusting [redacted]
