Review: I contracted Sonnenberg Builders in June 2013 to replace windows and trim on my house from hail damage. I paid them 50% down and waited to be scheduled for repair. Months went by and I never heard anything. I called, they said they would get back to me in a few weeks. Month after month I had to call and would be given some excuse as to why they couldn't get to my job. Winter came, no work, spring came, no work. A year has gone by and still no work. Finally in July [redacted] himself showed up and replaced the trim on the two windows but not the glass on the bay window. He left and we haven't heard a thing. I have tried calling to ask when the work will be completed and get no answer. I have taken vacation three times now and never needed to because no one showed up. Over a year is excessive and unacceptable for work to be completed.Desired Settlement: Want the glass replaced before winter.

The customer was incorrect with the purchase price of $1400. The price was $820. If there are any further concerns regarding this, please contact me directly. [redacted] ###-###-####. The reason for delay is that Manitowoc, Wisconsin was hit with major hail storm damage in June of 2013. We will not sacrifice quality over quantity like all the storm chasers have and are no longer in town to service their customers. Insurance companies usually give two years to complete the damage.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. If I can make one recommendation, it would be, courtesy calls. It would have been nice to be updated on what the repair plans were, when you plan on coming and why I didn't hear back for 3-6 months at a time. I am happy to finally, after 1 1/2 years, have new windows and [redacted], you did a great a job! I only wish you would have kept me in the loop so I wouldn't have had to go Revdex.com for fear you were never returning to do the work. Thank you.
