I am rejecting this response because: As seen in the attached image of a text with the Salesperson the night prior to making the drive out of town to purchase the new vehicle, we were reassured the price remained what had been agreed upon, "either way," with or without the tradeI am recovering from cancer and surgeryHaving a business waste our time, when we would have been taking our son to the fair on that beautiful summer day instead, had the salesperson been honest and up front, is unacceptableThe reason they gave is precisely why we asked in advance and why we are so disenchanted at being lied to

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/02/05) */ To address the price of the vehicle purchased, we made sure to notify the customer of the price change before the customer arrivedWe adjusted the price to better reflect what the market was for that vehicleIn our point inspection, we did not find it necessary to replace brakes, oil pan, power steering hose, or spark plugsHowever, we did change the oil, replaced the power steering rack, replaced both outer tie rod ends, mount and balanced tires and did a wheel alignmentI have attached the Repair Order to this response Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2016/02/08) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) the power steering hose is and was leaking before I bought the vehicle, same thing with the oil pan which is obvious with oil on bottom of the pan I have to add power steering fluid each wk to keep from damaging power steering pumpthe plugs appear to be original plugs(84000) I was not told about price chamge before I got therethese things are not acceptable!!!! I thought sonju was reputable and responsible dealer up to now! As the customer clearly stated in the complaint to you they had a trade but something happened to it and they decided not to trade it in. They changed the parameters of the deal by keeping the trade.

Salesperson the night prior to making the drive out of town to purchase the new vehicle, we were reassured the price remained what had been agreed upon, "either way," with or without the trade. I am recovering from cancer and surgery. Having a business waste our time,  when we would have been taking our son to the fair on that beautiful summer day instead, had the salesperson been honest and up front, is unacceptable. The reason they gave is precisely why we asked in advance and why we are so disenchanted at being lied to.

As the customer clearly stated in the complaint to you they had a trade but something happened to it and they decided not to trade it in.  They changed the parameters of the deal by keeping the trade.

To address the price of the vehicle purchased, we made sure to notify the customer of the price change before the customer arrived. We adjusted the price to better reflect what the market was for that vehicle. In our 110 point inspection, we...

did not find it necessary to replace brakes, oil pan, power steering hose, or spark plugs. However, we did change the oil, replaced the power steering rack, replaced both outer tie rod ends, mount and balanced 4 tires and did a 4 wheel alignment. I have attached the Repair Order to this response.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/02/08) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

I have attached a file with conversations with the customer. The highlighted section shows notes from a phone conversation between us and the customer. We offered to trade him out of the vehicle he is in or buy the car back from him. He declined both options.
